RUN NL - FULL EVENTS SCHEDULE 2025

North Lanarkshire Council are delighted to announce our new RUN NL brand for all events now being hosted across the authority in 2025. 

In addition to our main race attractions, we shall also be adding the following new offers: 

Cumbernauld 10K Adult Series Offer:

The above offer shall allow particpants from the age of 16+ the opportunity to take part in the "Series" programme which shall feature entry to the NITE LITE RUN DARK EVENT and CUMBERNAULD 10K EVENT  combined for a fantatsic price offer. 

In this offer there shall be individual race trophies for the folowing catagories:

10K Series Winner – Male

10K Series Winner – Female

10k Series Winner Over 50 – Male

10K Series Winner over 50 – Female

To identify overall competition winners, the timings combined from both races will be used to determine the overall winner for each of thecategories, with the best average time across the events.

Cumbernauld 10K Youth Series Offer: 

The above offer shall allow partoicpants from the 11 -13 & 14-15 agr groups to particpate in a combined "Series" race programme featuring a NITE LITE RUN DARK 5K EVENT and CUMBERNAULD 5K EVENT also for a fantastic price offer.

5K Series Winner – Male (11 to 13 yrs)

5K Series Winner – Female (11 to 13 yrs)

5K Series Winner – Male (14 & 15 yrs)

5K Series Winner – Female (14 & 15 yrs)

In partnership with NHS Suicide Prevention are delighted to announce that our Nite Lite Run Dark event will take place on Friday 21st March 2025 at Drumpellier Country Park, ML5 1RX

Registration for the event will take place at Drumpellier Country Park (Coatbridge) Visitor Centre, there are limited parking spaces available on site. 

Registration will close at 6:40pm and the event will begin at 7pm prompt.

Head Torches are mandatory which shall be provided as part of your entry fee and given to you at registration along with your chipped timing number. 

The event will Run Dark from Lochend Loch within the park past the superb Crannog and onto the woodland trail incorporating parts of the North Calder trail.

The event will be approximately 6 miles and finish alongside the visitor centre.

Entrants must be age 16+.
